I was very fortunate to be approached by Dan who wanted to get a portrait of their late dog, Dexter, done for his husband's birthday in May. Dexter was a corgi, which is my particular favorite breed of dog so I was tickled to be able to work on this for them!

Dexter was a very special boy and the 11x14" watercolor painting came out just gorgeous. Here are some Work in Progress photos I took along the way!

The Background colors were put down first while Dexter was protected with a layer of masking fluid!

Finished! Tape and staples removed and ready to clean up the edges and ship it to the client!
